Guidance

Cleaning

ProfStage guitars are finished in a matte lacquer that offers an elegant, natural appearance but requires specific care.

Use only a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and handling marks.

For more persistent dirt, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water.

Avoid products containing silicone, waxes, automotive polish, or furniture polish, as they may create unwanted glossy areas on the finish.

After playing, wipe down the instrument to remove perspiration and oils from your hands.

Fingerboard conditioning

The fingerboard on ProfStage guitars is not lacquered and may dry out over time.

Conditioning is recommended every 6 to 12 months, depending on climate and use.

Use lemon oil or products made specifically for conditioning fingerboards.

Apply a small amount with a soft cloth, spread it evenly, and remove any excess after a few minutes.

Strings and tuners

Clean the strings after each use to extend their lifespan.

Periodically check the tuner screws, keeping them secure and in good condition.

Additional care

Do not expose the guitar to direct sunlight.

Do not leave the instrument inside closed vehicles for extended periods.

Whenever possible, store it in its bag when not in use.

To preserve battery life, always unplug the cable when the instrument is not in use.

With proper care, your guitar will retain its aesthetic, structural, and sonic qualities for many years.

Enjoy every moment with your Toca ProfStage guitar, and keep it ready to inspire new music.
